HOLD O' DODGE MARATHON
In the quiet neighborhoods of Lusaka South, a marathon far from the chaos of Lusaka’s traffic, and close to the purity of the grind — is born. Hold o’ Dodge Marathon is more than a run. It’s a philosophy: that discipline has two faces — devotion and defiance. In the end, you’re either Holding or Dodging.

The Hold O’ Dodge is an annual marathon event organized by the City Marathons. It features various race categories, including full marathon, half marathon, 10K run, and 5K fun run.

The Hold O’ Dodge Marathon offers the following race categories:
- Full Marathon: 42 KM
Half Marathon: 21 kilometers
10K Run: 10 kilometers
5K Fun Run: 5 kilometers

Yes, participants must be at least 18 years old to register for the full marathon and half marathon. There is no age limit for the 10K run and 5K fun run, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The registration fee includes a race bib, event t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and access to aid stations along the race route.

Yes, volunteers are welcome to assist with various aspects of the event, including registration, aid stations, and course marshaling. You can sign up to volunteer on the event website.
The event organizers prioritize the safety of all participants. Medical personnel and aid stations are available along the race route. Additionally, road closures and traffic control measures are implemented to ensure a safe running environment.
